On KZZJ, you can hear funeral announcements at 9:20 am and during the noon and 5 pm news reports Monday thru Friday; 9:15 am and 12 pm on Saturday; and 10:25 am on Sunday.


On KKWZ, you can hear funeral announcements at 9:18 am and 12:20 PM Monday thru Friday; 9:10 am

on Saturday; and 10:25 am on Sunday.

ARLEN BLESSUM, RUGBY

Services have been set for Deacon Arlen Blessum, 92, of Rugby, who died Thursday, Aug. 27 at his home in Rugby. Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 3 from 5-7 pm at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby, and will continue Friday morning from 9-10:30 am at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Sept. 4 at 11 am at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Burial in the church cemetery. The Anderson Funeral Home of Rugby is assisting the family of Deacon Arlen Blessum with funeral services.

DEBRA PIERSON

Services have been set for Debra Kay Pierson, 75, who died July 4 at her home under the care of Sanford Health Hospice of Fargo. Visitation will be at 10 am, memorial service at 11 am Saturday, Sept. 12 at Leeds Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the spring in St. Petri Lutheran Cemetery in rural York. The Nelson Funeral Home of Leeds is assisting the family of Debra Kay Pierson with funeral service arrangements.

ROGER HERSEY, RUGBY

Services have been set for Roger Dale Hersey, 94, of Rugby, who passed away Tuesday, Aug. 25. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Rugby. The Niewoehner Funeral Home of Rugby is assisting the family of Roger Hersey with funeral service arrangements.
