Rugby Broadcasters provides our listeners and community with funeral announcements every day on the air and our website.
You can hear them on the air in the 9am, Noon, and 5pm hours Monday through Friday. They can also be heard Saturday mornings and during the Noon news report, as well as Sunday mornings at 10:25.
GARTH SENECHAL, RUGBY
Services have been set for Garth Senechal, 44, of Rugby, who died Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 27 from 5-7 p.m. with prayer service and sharing of memories at 7 p.m. at Calvary Evangelical Free Church in Rugby. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m. at the Rugby Armory. Lunch and fellowship to follow at the Rugby Eagles. Burial will take place in the spring. The Anderson Funeral Home of Rugby is assisting the family of Garth Senechal with funeral services.
LINDA BERRY, TOWNER
Services have been set for Linda Berry, 75, of Towner, who died Monday, Feb. 23, at the Heart of America Medical Center in Rugby. Visitation will be Sunday, March 1, from 4-6 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Towner, and will continue one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Towner. The Anderson Funeral Home of Towner is assisting the family of Linda Berry with funeral services.
GARY STADUM, MADDOCK
Services have been set for Gary Stadum, 85, of Maddock, who passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, at SMP St. Aloisius Medical Center in Harvey. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 27, from 5-7 p.m. followed by a rosary and vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Feb. 28, at 10:30 a.m. - all at St. Williams Catholic Church in Maddock. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery following mass. The Nelson Funeral Home is assisting the family of Gary Stadum with funeral service arrangements.
BEATRICE MATTERN, RUGBY
Services have been set for Beatrice Mattern, 82, of Rugby, who died Monday, Feb. 23 at home. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, from 5-7 p.m. with a rosary, vigil prayer service and sharing all beginning at 7 p.m., and will continue Tuesday, March 3, from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Rugby. There will be no reviewal at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church in Rugby. Burial will be in the spring in the church cemetery. The Anderson Funeral Home of Rugby is assisting the family of Beatrice Mattern with funeral services.
CHARLENE MELAAS, MADDOCK
Charlene Maria Melaas, 67, of Maddock, passed away Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Graveside service will be held at a later date at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in rural Maddock. The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock is in charge of arrangements.
